"Each moment contains the potential for unlimited creativity. I think of each painting as a moment in time. When I am painting, nothing exists but that moment. I am deeply inspired by the colors of the earth, the warmth of the sun and the undulating rhythms of the sea.
As a Southern California native, I grew up surrounded by spectacular scenery. The ocean, mountains and desert were incredible visual memory experiences that will remain with me always. Each color is a vibration of the soul, an individual response. Creating art is at once elevating and therapeutic. While my paintings are an extension of my own personal journey, I invite the viewer to experience their own personal journey and discovery through my art.I choose to work abstractly because, for me, it's a more instinctive, primitive experience. My eyes and hands become an extension of my subconscious spirit. As I grow and evolve in the experiences each day brings, so does my art."
